Nage-waza-ura no Kata

Forms of Counters

This kata was created by Kyuzo Mifune, tenth dan, at the Kodokan after World War II. It is not a recognized Kodokan kata, and it is sometimes referred to as Nage Ura no Kata or Gonosen-no-Kata. It is a study of the Kaeshi Waza, or countering techniques of judo.
