I was surprised when I read that Kaze Arashi Ryu is a self made-up system! I am a black belt in Tae Kown Do, and back in 1995 and 1996 I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Villaire. He to the best of my knowledge, has had at least 40 years of training, if not more. His student was teaching The Scottlandyard's police force who are considered the best police force in the world. I had an opportunity to train with him for a few months. I was learning weapons such as sword, staff, and knife. He is one of the best swordman I have ever seen. What he was teaching at a time was called AkiJutsu whish is the forerunner of jujitsu and Aikido. To the best of my knowledge. most martial arts of Japan came from this as this Akijutsu was really the Samuraii martial art system and as such included strike and defense. weapons, throws, and grappling. What Mr. Villaire may call his school is irrevalent. He taught and I believe still teaches Akijutsu. At that time he was teaching in Phoenix. later I heard that he had moved to Houston. His students teach the system across the US, with MN perhaps to be an important center. He is also the head teacher for this system in Europe and America. He is affiliated with the Japanese center of this martial arts. he has conducted numerous seminars in Europe and Japan. I have personally seen the magazine articles. He is a genuine article.
